The cost for TENNESSEE RESIDENTS is $98.50; The cost for Out of State RESIDENTS is $38.50 ONLY IF the
marriage license is obtained in SEVIER COUNTY; if it is obtained
ANYWHERE ELSE IN TENNESSEE, it will be the same cost as a Tennessee
Resident ($98.50). They will accept cash, Visa or MasterCard. There is a
$2.00 service fee for use of Master Card or Visa. |
- They will need to see your
photo ID - driver's license, state issued ID, or
- military ID.
- They will ask for your social security NUMBER; they do NOT need your CARD.
- They will ask the date of your last divorce; they do NOT need your divorce papers.
- There is NO blood test OR waiting period.
- Application process takes about 10-15 minutes and BOTH PARTIES must be present.
